The municipality of Salou has launched the fifth edition of Salouween, a multi-day Halloween celebration designed to boost local tourism and the economy. The program includes a variety of activities such as the Salouween Parade, a gastronomic fair, and themed markets.
Key events include the ‘Trick or Treat’ activity for children starting October 23, and the ‘Club Xic’s Encantat’ mini-terror passage for families. The festivities also feature escape rooms, including a family-oriented version in Plaza del Carrilet and a zombie-themed challenge for those over 12 at Masia Tous. Additionally, special effects makeup workshops will be held to teach participants how to create realistic wounds and prosthetics.
Local officials, including Mayor Pere Granados and Economic Dynamization Councilor Héctor Màiquez, emphasized that the event is a strategic component of the city’s model to remain a dynamic, year-round tourist destination.
