Salou hosts Festa al Cel festival with drone and air shows

Salou is hosting the Festa al Cel festival, featuring a variety of aerial displays and a major drone show. The event includes the PortAventura Sunset Airshow on Saturday and a large-scale airshow on Sunday featuring combat aircraft, helicopters, and acrobatic teams.

To manage the expected crowds, the Salou City Council has implemented a special mobility plan. This includes the activation of three large deterrent parking areas with a total capacity of 12,500 vehicles located at Carrer Joan Fuster, the Festiuet area, and the Emprius zone. Additional municipal parking is also available.

The drone show, sponsored by PortAventura World and managed by UMILES, will feature 300 drones performing a choreographed display on Saturday night at 21:30. This follows previous years where drone technology was integrated with traditional pyrotechnics.
