Salou to host second Festa al Cel aviation festival in 2026

The second edition of the Festa al Cel aviation festival is scheduled to take place in Salou from September 18 to 20, 2026. Following a successful inaugural event that drew over 350,000 attendees, organizers expect to exceed that figure with an expanded program featuring prominent military and civil aviation teams.

The three-day event begins on Friday, September 18, with training flights and technical checks for acrobatic patrols, historical aircraft, and helicopters. A major highlight for Saturday, September 19, is the PortAventura Sunset Airshow, which will feature aerial acrobatics integrated with LED lights, smoke, lasers, and pyrotechnics during sunset.

The festival concludes on Sunday, September 20, with a grand air exhibition including combat aircraft, helicopters, historical aviation, civil aircraft, emergency aerial vehicles, and acrobatic formations.
