Salou to launch new circular urban bus line by 2027

The Salou City Council is developing a new circular urban bus line designed to improve connectivity between the city center, Cap de Salou, and various residential developments. The project aims to reduce reliance on private vehicles by providing more direct access to municipal services, shopping areas, and local neighborhoods.

According to Julia Gómez, spokesperson for Sumem per Salou-PSC, the project is technically advanced, and the necessary budget has been requested. The service is expected to begin operations during 2027. While Salou currently operates over 50 public bus stops, this new line is intended to reinforce the internal network and better serve residents throughout the year.
