Salt Lake Temple announces additional open house tour reservations

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced two additional waves of ticket releases for the Salt Lake Temple open house tours. New reservations will become available on September 15 and October 1 at 6 p.m. MDT.

This follows a massive initial demand where the first 1 million reservations were claimed in less than 24 hours. Church and civic leaders anticipate that between 4 and 5 million people will visit Salt Lake City during the six-month open house period, which is scheduled to run from April 5 through October 1, 2027.

The celebration, themed ‘Rejoice in Christ’, marks the reopening of the church’s flagship temple. Officials stated the event is intended to allow visitors to experience the renewed building and learn about the purpose of temples. Interested individuals can manage reservations through TempleSquare.org or the Temple Square mobile app.
