Salt Lake Temple to offer virtual tours for worldwide celebration

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is preparing a technology-rich virtual tour of the Salt Lake Temple to accommodate a worldwide celebration. This initiative aims to provide access to millions of people who are unable to travel to Utah to view the temple in person.

Following a high demand for physical reservations, where tens of thousands of people sought to secure the first million tour slots, the church announced that video assets will become available in October. A full virtual tour is scheduled for release next April. The temple open house period is set to run from April 5 through October 1, 2027.
