Salta, Argentina opens winter tourism season with folk performances

The Municipal Tourism Office of Salta inaugurated the city’s official winter tourism season with a large cultural showcase at the Cabildo plaza. The event featured the Argentine Malambo Champion quartet, several folk‑dance schools, a carnival comparsa and other performers, drawing hundreds of tourists and local residents.

Organizers announced that more than 200 activities will be offered throughout the winter months, emphasizing Salta’s traditions, gastronomy and entertainment to attract visitors from across the country.
