Salta Council Declares La Lorenza Mate and Entrepreneur Fair of Municipal Interest

The Salta City Council formally recognized the La Lorenza Mate and Entrepreneur Fair (July 2026 edition) as a municipal interest. The ceremony, held on July 18 in the Hall of the CD, featured council member José García presenting a commemorative plaque and Resolution No. 298 to the organizers. García highlighted the event’s role in promoting regional entrepreneurship, preserving the cultural heritage of mate, and fostering social cohesion.

Organizer Rebeca Abigail Moyano thanked the council for its support, noting that the fair attracted entrepreneurs from across Salta Province and neighboring Jujuy, and included gastronomic stalls, live music, and dance performances. The council’s endorsement underscores the fair’s contribution to the local economy and cultural identity.
