Saltillo to host 16th Festival de la Paella on September 26

The 16th edition of the Festival de la Paella 2026 has been officially presented and is scheduled to take place on September 26 at the gardens of Universidad La Salle Saltillo. The event is expected to feature more than 40 amateur and professional teams, including chefs and restaurants, and will include Ramos Arizpe as a guest municipality.

The festival is projected to generate an economic impact of approximately 1.8 million pesos. Beyond its culinary focus, the event carries a social component: a portion of the proceeds will be allocated to student scholarships at Universidad La Salle and educational projects supported by the Club Rotario Saltillo de Valle Arizpe.

Organizers noted that entry will be free for children up to 12 years old. Tickets for the general public are available through the JRTicket platform. The municipal government of Saltillo is collaborating with the private sector and Canirac Saltillo to promote the city as a gastronomic and tourist destination.
