Saltillo announces INFONAVIT housing credits for security personnel

Saltillo Mayor Javier Díaz González announced that the city will be among the first in Mexico to provide municipal police officers with access to housing through INFONAVIT credits.

The benefit extends to 1,466 employees of the Security and Citizen Protection Commissioner's Office, including both police officers and administrative staff. Depending on age, salary, and credit capacity, workers can access financing ranging from 2.5 to 3.1 million pesos.

Mayor Díaz González stated the initiative serves as an incentive for professionalism and ethics, aiming to provide stability for the families of those serving the community. He noted that Saltillo has been recognized by INEGI as the safest capital in Mexico through cooperation between municipal, state, and federal forces.
