In Montevideo, Uruguay, the construction company Schmidt utilized its PRO WALL precast concrete system to build 40 new homes in the Puesta al Sol neighborhood. This project, part of a social integration initiative by the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning, includes duplexes and two-bedroom units designed to improve living conditions for vulnerable families.

In Tijuana, Mexico, Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz presented his second government report, highlighting significant infrastructure and social investments. Key achievements include the execution of 86 public works totaling over 323 million pesos and the paving of 340,000 square meters of roads. The administration also modernized over 20,500 streetlights with LED technology and implemented the 'Tijuana Saludable' program, which has reached 102,000 affiliates.

Additionally, the Tijuana municipal government has expanded animal welfare services through the remodeling of the Municipal Animal Control Center and the launch of mobile sterilization units, 'Tijuana Ciudad Perruna y Gatuna', aiming to perform 6,000 sterilizations annually.
