Saltillo hosts successful Archery World Cup Final

The Archery World Cup Final concluded in Saltillo, Coahuila, featuring 32 archers from 17 countries competing in compound and recurve categories. The event was noted for its successful organization and festive atmosphere at the Plaza de Armas.

In the women's compound category, Coahuila native Dafne Quintero earned a silver medal after a close final against Alexis Ruiz of the United States, who took gold. Colombian archer Sara López secured the bronze. In the men's compound category, Austria's Nico Wiener won gold, followed by Denmark's Mathias Fullerton in silver, and Mexico's Rodrigo González de Alba in bronze.

In the recurve category, Dhiraj Bommadevara of India and Marie Horackova of the Czech Republic took the top spots in the men's and women's divisions, respectively.

Local officials in Monclova noted that the success of athletes in international competitions like this one helps strengthen sports tourism in the region, positioning the area as a capable host for national and international sporting events.
