Saltillo house fire leaves man hospitalized for smoke inhalation

A man approximately 35 years old was hospitalized for smoke inhalation after being trapped in a house fire in the Valle Satélite neighborhood of Saltillo. Neighbors assisted the man, identified as Carlos, in escaping the burning building before firefighters from Station 6 arrived on the scene.

During the emergency, residents also evacuated a 94-year-old woman who uses a wheelchair. While some neighbors reported seeing a woman fleeing the residence shortly before the fire spread, authorities have not confirmed this account. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations by the State General Prosecutor's Office and Civil Protection are underway to determine the origin and structural condition of the property.
