Coahuila invests 20 million pesos in 19 hydro-agricultural projects

The government of Coahuila and the National Water Commission (CONAGUA) are launching 19 hydro-agricultural infrastructure projects with a joint investment of 20 million pesos. These initiatives aim to modernize irrigation systems and improve water resource management to boost agricultural productivity.

The projects will directly benefit 250 agricultural producers from both the social and private sectors. Planned works include the installation of water conduction pipelines, canal desilting, deep well equipment, and the implementation of sprinkler irrigation systems. Additionally, the plan incorporates central pivots, traveling cannons, and solar panels for deep wells to reduce electricity consumption and operational costs for farmers.
