Saltillo Mayor graduates 42nd class of volunteer firefighters

Saltillo Mayor Javier Díaz González presided over the graduation ceremony of the 42nd class of the Volunteer Firefighter Training Academy. The graduating class consists of 28 members who completed one year of theoretical and practical training.

During the event, Díaz González emphasized that these new members will strengthen prevention and emergency response efforts for the city. He noted that the Heroico Cuerpo de Bomberos is a highly respected institution in Saltillo and pledged to continue strengthening security and rescue bodies in coordination with Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas.

The ceremony concluded with the traditional ‘lucky bath’ ritual, which the mayor participated in alongside the graduates. Francisco Martínez Ávalos, Director of Civil Protection and Firefighters, officially declared the cadets graduated after they successfully met all training requirements.
