Mexican municipalities implement various urban infrastructure and maintenance projects

Various municipal governments in Mexico are implementing urban maintenance and infrastructure projects to improve public services and community spaces.

In Ecatepec, Mayor Azucena Cisneros Coss oversaw the rehabilitation of a recreational park in Ampliación Tulpetlac, featuring renovated playgrounds and basketball courts. The administration also plans to improve water distribution systems in the region.

In San Pedro Cholula, Mayor Tonantzin Fernández directed over 200 actions focused on public lighting and park maintenance, including repairing luminaires and tending to green areas across several neighborhoods and auxiliary juntas.

In Saltillo, Mayor Javier Díaz González is leading several initiatives, including the ‘Bosques Urbanos Lineales’ reforestation program, sidewalk rehabilitation in the Historic Center, and enhanced road safety operations.

In San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Mayor Fabiola Ricci Diestel has launched multiple infrastructure works, including drainage and paving projects in the Belisario Domínguez and Yaalboc communities, as well as street rehabilitation in the Tlaxcala neighborhood.
