Saltillo municipal tax stimulus ends July 31

The municipal government of Saltillo urged residents to take advantage of a fiscal stimulus that expires on 31 July. Treasurer Lissette Álvarez Cuéllar explained that a one‑peso per‑year surcharge reduction applies to property tax (predial), the tax on real‑estate acquisitions, and fees linked to alcohol‑selling establishments, waste collection, spectacles, commercial activities, markets and transit services.

The same reduction also covers administrative and fiscal sanctions, licensing fees for advertising permits and charges for occupying public streets. The measures were approved by the Saltillo Cabildo for the month of July to help local families regularise their tax obligations.
