Saltillo promotes disability inclusion through community event

Luly López Naranjo, honorary president of DIF Saltillo, promoted social inclusion during a ‘Baile Vaquero’ event held in Saltillo, Coahuila, to mark the month of Persons with Disabilities.

Working alongside Mayor Javier Díaz González, the initiative aimed to reduce social barriers and recognize the rights of children, youth, and adults with disabilities to participate fully in social life. The event featured musical performances by groups Replika and La Pura Vida, as well as various community stands.

López Naranjo emphasized the commitment to building a community where disability is not viewed as a limitation to social connection and celebration. The event was supported by several local organizations and volunteers, including Manufactura Zapalinamé, JR Sombreros, and various branches of Borgwarner and Lear.
