Saltillo rehabilitates retaining walls on key thoroughfares

The Saltillo municipal government, led by Mayor Javier Díaz González, has launched an infrastructure strategy to rehabilitate retaining walls and improve road safety across key thoroughfares. Through the ‘Aquí Andamos’ program, crews have been replacing and aligning damaged concrete retaining walls at strategic locations, including Venustiano Carranza Boulevard, Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard, and the Luis Echeverría Álvarez peripheral road.

With support from Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas, works have also been carried out on delimiting walls along Nazario S. Ortiz Garza Boulevard. Additionally, municipal brigades have removed damaged utility poles on Nazario S. Ortiz Garza and Luis Donaldo Colosio to mitigate risks to pedestrians and motorists. These preventive and corrective actions aim to enhance mobility and safety for both residents and visitors in Saltillo.
