Saltillo sports updates: Soccer and Valkirias schedules

Saltillo Soccer has confirmed its participation in Group 1 of the Liga Premier Serie A for the 2026-27 season. The group includes ACF Zapotlanejo, FC Santiago, Guerreros de Autlán, Héroes de Zaci, La Tribu de Ciudad Juárez, Mineros de Fresnillo, Real Apodaca, CORRE Caminos FC, and Vaqueros Reynosa.

Leaked schedules suggest the season could open with a match between Saltillo Soccer and La Tribu de Ciudad Juárez at the Estadio Olímpico, potentially repeating a previous championship final. The official league season is set to begin between August 28 and August 30.

In women's sports, the Valkirias de Saltillo are scheduled to host Wolfpack de Monterrey on Saturday, August 15, at 19:00 at the Estadio Olímpico. This match is part of Jornada 4 of the Liga de Football Femenil Nacional (LIFFEN). The Valkirias recently announced the addition of new player Paola Leal to their roster.
