Saltillo to host 2026 Archery World Cup finals

Saltillo, Coahuila, will host the 2026 Archery World Cup finals on September 12 and 13. The event, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of the series, is expected to generate an economic impact exceeding 10 million pesos for the city.

Seven Mexican archers have qualified for the competition across four categories. Among them is Andrea Becerra, who seeks to defend her compound bow title. Other Mexican representatives include Ana Paula Vázquez, Alejandra Valencia, Matías Grande, Dafne Quintero, Sebastián García Flores, and Rodrigo González De Alba. The competition will feature elite athletes from 17 countries, including world number two Brady Ellison.

Winners in each category will receive 30,000 Swiss francs. The tournament follows qualifying stages held in Puebla, Shanghai, Antalya, and Madrid. Saltillo becomes the fifth Mexican city to host this prestigious final.
