Salto and Concordia launch Binational Innovation Laboratory

The governments of Salto and Concordia are launching a Binational Innovation Laboratory on October 8. This initiative aims to develop solutions for shared challenges and opportunities between the two cities through collaborative work and innovation methodologies.

The project will involve the Universidad Tecnológica del Uruguay (UTEC) and the Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU) Salto Campus. By integrating academic knowledge and technical capabilities, the laboratory seeks to link the public sector with universities and local actors to analyze concrete problems and transform ideas into applicable territorial proposals.
