Salto Grande launches 17th Higher Secondary Education Program
The Uruguayan Delegation of the Salto Grande Mixed Technical Commission has launched the 17th edition of the Higher Secondary Education Program (EMS) for 2026. The initiative is designed for first-year EMS students in the Salto department, aiming to bridge the gap between academic education and professional environments.
The program will involve 21 urban and rural educational institutions, reaching more than 70 student groups. Participants will gain insight into the various professional areas, technical disciplines, and career opportunities associated with Salto Grande.
Gonzalo Casaravilla, president of the Uruguayan Delegation, stated that the program aligns with the 2025–2030 Management Model, specifically focusing on transparency and renewal. He noted that transparency is demonstrated through opening the organization’s processes and teams to new generations, while renewal involves introducing students to the modernization processes planned for the hydroelectric complex.
