Salto hosts 13th Coros en Invierno choral festival

The 13th edition of the Coros en Invierno festival will take place on August 21 and 22 at the Teatro Larrañaga in Salto. The event features 14 adult choral groups from various local institutions and offers free admission to the public.

The first day, starting at 19:00 on Friday, August 21, will include performances by Coro Canteamo María, Coro Fratelli All’Estero, Coro SA. FA., Coral Armonía, Coro Saltoko Abesbatza, Coro Río Uruguay, Coro Uni 3, Coro Azahares de AJUPENSAL, and the Coro de Padres del Colegio Salesianos.

The second day, beginning at 19:30 on Saturday, August 22, will feature Coro Voces Salteñas, Ostinato Coro, Grupo Coral Byblos, Coro Udelar, and the Coro Departamental de Salto. This session will include a special collaboration with the Orquesta del Conservatorio Departamental de Música to perform a symphonic-choral work, aimed at strengthening the connection between orchestral and choral training.
