Salto prepares for visitors during Nostalgia long weekend

The department of Salto is preparing for an influx of visitors during the upcoming Nostalgia long weekend. Local tourism operators and institutions are coordinating a diverse range of activities including parties, shows, gastronomy, and recreational options.

Termas del Daymán is expected to be a primary attraction for visitors. The tourism offering includes activities such as horseback riding, diving, visits to Energy Mundo, and the Salto Grande dam, alongside historical and cultural sites. Flavia Lavecchia, secretary general of CAMTUR, noted high expectations for tourist arrivals, while Ofelia Somma, president of the Tourism Commission of the Centro Comercial e Industrial de Salto (CCIS), highlighted the collaborative work between institutions to provide programming for families, young people, couples, and seniors.
