Salto Veloso launches municipal job contest and reports 3,448 eligible voters

The Prefeitura de Salto Veloso (Santa Catarina) announced a new public hiring process (Edital 014/2026) offering positions in health, education, social assistance, administration and infrastructure. Salaries range from R$ 2,045.84 to R$ 9,151.71, with registration open from 30 July to 28 August 2026 and exams scheduled for September and October.

The Tribunal Regional Eleitoral of Santa Catarina released the latest voter profile for Salto Veloso, showing 3,448 eligible voters. The electorate is evenly split by gender, with the largest age group (30‑34 years) accounting for 344 voters. Most voters have incomplete primary education, while 260 hold a university degree. The data also details marital status, race and the presence of a centenarian voter.
