Saluzzo to host public meeting on dementia prevention and care

A public meeting titled ‘Demenza: capire, curare e accompagnare’ (Dementia: understanding, treating, and accompanying) will be held on September 24, 2026, at the Monastero della Stella in Saluzzo.

Promoted by ASL CN1 and the Santa Croce e Carle Hospital, the event aims to provide information to families, caregivers, and citizens regarding dementia prevention, available treatments, and local support services. Experts will discuss risk reduction, latest pharmacological therapies, and strategies for managing advanced stages of the disease while maintaining patient dignity.

The session will also feature a presentation of the activities conducted by the Center for Cognitive Disorders and Dementia (CDCD), followed by an open discussion period for public interaction with medical professionals.
