Salvador Alvarado police patrol damaged during motorcycle pursuit

A police patrol vehicle in Salvador Alvarado, Sinaloa, was damaged during a pursuit of a motorcycle suspected of being stolen. According to Fernando Ruiz Carrillo, Secretary of the City Council, officers attempted to intercept the rider after receiving a theft report, but the motorcycle's speed prevented them from catching the suspect.

The accident resulted in damage to the official municipal unit. Officials stated that the case will be handled by the departments responsible for municipal asset administration. Ruiz Carrillo confirmed that all municipal vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance, which includes coverage for third-party damages, vehicle repairs, and medical expenses.
