The Municipal Labor Intermediation Service (Simm) in Salvador, in partnership with the telemarketing firm Contax, opened a selection process for 700 telemarketing operator positions on July 10. The jobs serve customer service centers for telecom, electricity, and water utilities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, and the program includes interview preparation through Simm’s training initiatives.

Meanwhile, the Agência do Trabalhador in Toledo posted 1,004 vacancies covering a wide range of roles, from apprenticeships and internships to specialized technical positions. The agency operates weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (shorter on Fridays) and requires candidates to schedule appointments online or via WhatsApp. The list includes positions such as telemarketing operators, production assistants, drivers, electricians, and many others, aiming to connect job seekers with local employers.

Both initiatives are part of municipal efforts to expand employment opportunities and reduce local unemployment in Brazil’s Bahia and Paraná states.
