Salvador Bahia Airport to hold aerial accident simulation at Porto da Barra

Salvador Bahia Airport will conduct a large-scale aerial accident simulation at Porto da Barra beach on Thursday, the 17th. The operation is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM and is expected to involve approximately 400 participants, including emergency responders, medical professionals, security personnel, and crisis managers.

Due to the drill, portions of the access roads and the Porto da Barra beach area will be cordoned off by Transalvador. The exercise aims to test and coordinate emergency protocols among municipal, state, federal, and private entities, including the Brazilian Air Force, the Navy, the Fire Department, and various police agencies.

The simulation utilizes aircraft, vessels, and numerous vehicles to ensure a practical test of integrated response capabilities for potential real-world aviation emergencies.
