Salvador City Hall delivers 133 renovated homes in Engomadeira

The Salvador City Hall has delivered 133 renovated homes to residents of the Engomadeira neighborhood through the ‘Morar Melhor’ program. This initiative aims to resolve structural issues and provide greater safety for residents, particularly during rainy seasons.

Mayor Bruno Reis announced that 167 additional properties in the area are currently undergoing requalification, bringing the total number of benefited homes in the region to 671. The project followed the urbanization of local channels to address flooding and open sewage issues.

In addition to housing, the administration announced several infrastructure service orders. These include repaving multiple streets, such as Rua Capitão Tadeu and Rua 27 de Julho, as well as sidewalk improvements on Rua Direta da Engomadeira and Rua Senhor do Bonfim.
