Salvador City Hall delivers 200 renovated homes in Tancredo Neves

The Salvador City Hall has delivered 200 renovated homes in the Tancredo Neves neighborhood through the ‘Morar Melhor’ program. This marks the third time the housing improvement initiative has reached the locality, which has now seen more than 1,000 properties benefited by the project.

The recent interventions, conducted in the Travessa Paraíso and Rua Tomaz Edson areas, addressed issues such as leaks, damaged roofs, and inadequate living environments. Services provided included roof and bathroom improvements, plastering, painting, and the replacement of doors and windows.

Mayor Bruno Reis stated that the program provides dignity to families who would otherwise lack the financial means to perform such renovations. Currently, 100 additional units are registered for intervention in the Rua Piauí region of Tancredo Neves, and over 4,000 properties across the city are on the waiting list for housing improvements.
