Salvador Dalí Night Experience Launches at Figueres Museum
The Teatre‑Museu Dalí in Figueres has opened a new summer night programme titled “Dalí, night and subconscious”. Running from 1 to 23 August, the audiovisual show combines projections of Dalí’s paintings, archival photographs, music and recorded voices of Dalí and his wife Gala, and is presented in the museum’s Patio of the Loggias. The production, created by visual‑arts studio Slidemedia, uses modern video‑mapping technology to immerse visitors in the artist’s imagination while preserving the museum’s historic ambience.
Museum director Montse Aguer and Gala‑Salvador Dalí Foundation director Félix Roca said the initiative aims to attract families and younger audiences without altering the essence of Dalí’s legacy. Night‑time visits, first introduced in 1992, have drawn about 400 000 visitors overall, with current annual attendance stabilising at 5‑6 000. The new show seeks to boost those numbers before the programme ends on 23 August.
