Salvador developments integrate art into hospitality and residential projects

Several developments in Salvador, Bahia, are highlighting the integration of art and regional identity within the real estate and hospitality sectors.

Deville Prime Salvador has completed a R$ 1.6 million revitalization of its lobby, reception, and Bar Berimbau areas. Designed by GAM Arquitetos, the renovation incorporates contemporary elements alongside works by local artists, including ceramics by Joelito Reis and photography by Wagner Fernandes. This follows a previous R$ 9 million investment in the hotel's leisure infrastructure.

In the residential sector, the Art Studio Open Spaces project by Grupo André Guimarães won a national award at the 32nd Master Imobiliário Prize. Located in Jardim Armação, the development was recognized for its concept of a ‘living art gallery,’ integrating art, architecture, and technology across its ten floors to create unique identities for its circulation and social areas.
