Salvador faces power outages in 12 neighborhoods due to maintenance

Neoenergia Coelba has scheduled power outages in 12 neighborhoods in Salvador, Brazil, for Thursday, August 27. The interruptions, occurring between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, are part of a maintenance and network reinforcement strategy that is expected to continue until August 31.

Affected areas include Stiep, Aquarius, Pituba, Barra, Cajazeiras VIII, Ceasa, Imbuí, Jardim das Margaridas, Nova Brasília de Valéria, São Caetano, and São Cristóvão. The company stated that these planned suspensions are necessary for preventive maintenance and are regulated by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel).
