Salvador Gutiérrez Solís to receive Premio Factoría Creativa de las Letras

Writer Salvador Gutiérrez Solís will be awarded the Premio Factoría Creativa de las Letras Nacional on Thursday, September 17. The ceremony will take place at the Centro Cultural La Villa in La Rinconada and will be hosted by journalist and writer Mercedes de Pablos.

The award, granted by the La Rinconada City Council, recognizes Solís’s literary career and his contributions to the promotion of culture. The event marks the autumn phase of the Estación de las Letras program, an initiative recognized by the Spanish government with the Premio Nacional de Fomento de la Lectura.

Solís is a prominent figure in contemporary Spanish literature, known for his work as a novelist, essayist, and cultural promoter. His notable works include the Carmen Puerto trilogy, consisting of ‘Los amantes anónimos’, ‘El lenguaje de las mareas’, and ‘Solo vive quien muere’. His previous accolades include the 2012 Premio Andalucía de la Crítica for ‘El escalador congelado’ and the Premio Jaén de Novela for his 2025 work ‘La estrategia del impostor’.
