Salvador hosts ‘Dançando com os Mestres’ dance workshop

The project ‘Dançando com os Mestres’ will hold its second meeting in Salvador on August 30. Organized by Esfera Espaço de Movimento and conceived by dancers Maitê Soares and Carol Silva, the initiative celebrates the first anniversary of the Esfera space.

The event aims to foster exchange between different generations of artists and promote dance memory and experimentation. The program features Carla Leite, who will lead a modern dance technique class covering Graham and Cunningham principles, and Edileuza Santos, who will present ‘Corpo Tambor: Um Novo Olhar da Dança de Expressão Negra,’ an experience centered on the connection between the drum and movement.
