Salvador hosts ENEM 2026 preparatory event for 4,000 state school students

On 11 August 2026, the Concha Acústica of the Teatro Castro Alves in Salvador will be turned into a large classroom for the "Prepara ENEM 2026" program. The initiative, a partnership between the Bahia State Education Secretariat and Brazil's Ministry of Education, aims to support 4,000 graduating high‑school students from the state network.

The event will also involve 320 teachers and coordinators from 80 schools within a 100‑km radius of the capital. Participants will receive subject‑specific reviews in Languages, Human Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as emotional‑well‑being activities, book giveaways, and on‑site technology assistance for exam registration and questionnaire completion.

Organizers say the program seeks to democratize access to higher education by targeting schools with the lowest confirmed enrolment rates for the national ENEM exam.
