Salvador Municipal Chamber launches legislative history book

The Salvador Municipal Chamber has launched a new book titled ‘Além do Parlamento’ (Beyond Parliament), marking the beginning of the ‘Informação & Memória Legislativas’ series. Developed by the Professor Jorge Portugal Library in partnership with the Castro Alves Editorial Seal, the work documents the institutional memory, practices, and behind-the-scenes operations of the local legislature.

The book features a collection of articles produced by chamber staff, aimed at preserving the legislative heritage and serving as an academic resource for future public servants. The launch event was attended by the President of the Municipal Chamber, Carlos Muniz, and Councilman Sílvio Humberto, who coordinates the Castro Alves Seal.
