Salvador Nasralla denies Liberal Party co-government claims

Salvador Nasralla, former presidential candidate for the Liberal Party in Honduras, has denied claims that his faction is participating in a co-government with the National Party. Nasralla stated via social media that none of the members who secured 1.8 million votes in the November 2025 elections are involved in such an arrangement, suggesting instead that these collaborations involve other sectors of liberalism.

Nasralla also criticized the current administration's performance and reiterated allegations regarding electoral fraud during the 2025 elections. Looking forward, he announced his intention to run for the presidency of the Central Executive Committee of the Liberal Party (CCEPL) in the 2029 internal elections as part of a broader political project aimed at the 2030 presidential elections.
