Salvador Sobral begins European tour for album A Flor do Recomeço
Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral will launch his European tour in October, opening in Bilbao, Spain. The itinerary adds Spanish dates in Palma de Mallorca (Nov 26), Girona (Nov 27), Barcelona (Jan 18) and Seville (Jan 23). The tour also reaches Oslo (Oct 28), three Dutch cities – Tilburg (Dec 3), Rotterdam (Dec 4), Leeuwarden (Dec 5) and Amsterdam (Dec 6) – and two Lithuanian stops, Kaunas (Dec 11) and Vilnius (Dec 12). In Portugal, Sobral will perform at Lisbon’s Centro Cultural de Belém on March 2 and at Porto’s Casa da Música on March 6, with tickets priced between €15‑€40 in Lisbon and €27‑€35 in Porto. Future UK concerts are scheduled for 2027 in Bristol, Manchester, London and Brighton.
The tour promotes his new album, A Flor do Recomeço, slated for release on 16 October. The record features previously unpublished songs by Brazilian writers such as Adriana Calcanhotto, Arnaldo Antunes, Chico César and Marcos Valle. Recorded in São Paulo, the album was produced by Marcus Preto and Tó Brandileone and performed by a Brazilian band of musicians. Sobral’s backing band for the tour includes pianist Katerina L’Dokova, bassist André Rosinha, saxophonist Eva Fernández, drummer Joel Silva and guitarist Sebastià Gris.
