Salvador hosts cultural and cycling festivals

Salvador is hosting several community-focused cultural and recreational events. The Samba Viaduto project is celebrating its second anniversary with a special edition on August 30, 2026, at Viaduto Luiz Cabral. The project, which has held 26 monthly editions, aims to preserve traditional samba and occupy public spaces while supporting the local economy and social causes through food donations.

Additionally, the 4th edition of the Festival da Bicicleta is taking place in Pituba at Praça Ana Lúcia Magalhães. Organized by Empresa Salvador Turismo and the Movimento Salvador Vai de Bike, the festival promotes sustainable mobility and leisure through cycling activities, workshops, and cultural attractions. The event includes a scheduled pedal from Parque Metropolitano de Pituaçu and encourages social solidarity by requesting food donations from participants.
