Salvados returns to LaSexta with Rita Barberá documentary

The Spanish television program ‘Salvados’ will return to LaSexta on Sunday, September 6, marking its 18th season since its 2008 debut. The premiere will feature a double episode dedicated to Rita Barberá, the former mayor of Valencia, ten years after her death.

The documentary will examine Barberá’s 24-year tenure as mayor, her political popularity, and the isolation she experienced toward the end of her life. The program will include interviews with former allies and adversaries, such as Francisco Camps, José Manuel García-Margallo, and Joan Ribó.

Other upcoming segments in the new season include a report on the labor precariousness faced by elite athletes, featuring former gymnast Almudena Cid, as well as features on Joaquín Reyes and the musical career of Miguel Ríos.
