Salvatore Barbera joins national board of AIAT

Salvatore Barbera, president of the Chamber of Tax Lawyers of Enna, has been elected to the national board of the newly formed Associazione Italiana degli Avvocati Tributaristi (AIAT). The association was established in Rome on October 9, 2026.

The AIAT aims to promote professional specialization in tax law, customs law, and international taxation. Its objectives include providing professional training through courses, seminars, and scientific conferences, as well as representing the collective interests of tax lawyers in dealings with institutions, financial administrations, and tax justice bodies.

The association will be led by President Angelo Cuva. Other key leadership roles include Vice Presidents Barbara Benazzi and Fabio Pace, Secretary Daniele Baldassare Giacalone, and Treasurer Daniele Vitello. Barbera joins several other elected members on the national board to facilitate collaboration between national initiatives and local professional realities.
