Salvatore Cipri celebrates 50 years of priestly ordination

Don Salvatore Cipri celebrated the 50th anniversary of his priestly ordination during a mass held at a scout base in Salemi. The ceremony was attended by over 400 faithful and concelebrated by Bishop Angelo Giurdanella, Archbishop Vito Rallo, and other priests from the Diocese.

Don Cipri was originally ordained in the Mazara del Vallo Cathedral on August 15, 1976, by Bishop Giuseppe Mancuso. Reflecting on his vocation, he credited his spiritual growth to his former parish priest, Don Alberto Di Stefano, and his grandmother, Vita. Throughout his five decades of service, he has served as a parish priest in several locations, including Marsala, Castelvetrano, Mazara del Vallo, Pantelleria, Gibellina, and Salemi.
