Salvatore Esposito returns for Piedone – Uno sbirro a Napoli season two

Salvatore Esposito will reprise his role as Inspector Vincenzo Palmieri in the second season of the crime series ‘Piedone – Uno sbirro a Napoli’. The new season, consisting of three 90-minute films, is scheduled to debut on November 23 on Sky Cinema and streaming via NOW.

Directed by Alessio Maria Federici, the upcoming installment follows Palmieri as he navigates complex investigations and confronts unresolved shadows from his past. A central plot point involves the pursuit of boss Edoardo Iodice, played by Luigi Iacuzio. The series also explores evolving professional and personal tensions between Palmieri and Commissioner Sonia Ascarelli, played by Silvia D’Amico, as well as the enigmatic Deputy Commissioner Enrico Ruotolo, played by Massimiliano Rossi.

The production is a collaboration between Sky Studios, Wildside (a Fremantle group company), and Titanus Production. The writing team includes Peppe Fiore, Laura Grimaldi, Paolo Piccirillo, and Jacopo Sonnino.
