Salvatore Fratantonio to hold painting exhibition in Ragusa Ibla

Salvatore Fratantonio will inaugurate his new painting exhibition, titled ‘Di giorno la notte’, on October 15, 2026, at the San Vincenzo Ferreri auditorium in Ragusa Ibla. Curated by Elisabetta Rizza, the event is supported by the Municipality of Ragusa and the Centro studi Feliciano Rossitto.

The exhibition serves as the conclusion of a tetralogy that includes ‘Sussulti 2020-2021’, ‘Autoritratto, il senso e l'essenza’, and ‘La forma infranta’. The new works explore expressive languages and a transition toward informal art, characterized by a ‘magmatic’ style where stable boundaries and precise contours dissolve into deep, dark matter.

The event will include a dialogue between the artist and the curator, as well as a screening of a documentary film about the artist by Andrea Giannone. The exhibition will remain open to the public until November 1.
