Salzburg Airport announces 2026/27 winter flight schedule

Salzburg Airport has announced its flight schedule for the 2026/27 winter season, focusing on a mix of warm-weather destinations, European city routes, and international hub connections. The strategy aims to stabilize year-round capacity and support both regional outbound travel and incoming alpine tourism.

Key direct destinations include Hurghada and Marsa Alam in Egypt, as well as Gran Canaria and Tenerife via Eurowings. Seasonal increases are planned for Palma de Mallorca, with daily service during the Christmas holidays and starting in mid-February 2027. Other direct routes include Alicante, Marrakesh, Dubai, Istanbul, Belgrade, and Pristina.

European city connections feature routes to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Reykjavik, and several Dutch cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven. Major carriers such as Lufthansa, Eurowings, Turkish Airlines, Flydubai, and SkyAlps will provide connectivity. Through hubs in Frankfurt, Istanbul, and Dubai, passengers can access long-haul destinations including Thailand, the Maldives, and Mexico City.
