Salzburgring hosts motorsport festival for 10,000 fans
The motorsport festival at the Salzburgring attracted approximately 10,000 fans despite changing weather conditions. The event featured the ADAC GT Masters as a primary highlight.
In the Sunday race, Austrian driver Leo Pichler, driving a Porsche 911 GT3, led for much of the event but narrowly missed a victory due to the pit stop strategy of a competitor. The winning Lamborghini Huracán GT3 was operated by Engstler Motorsport with drivers Finn Zulauf and Felix Hirsiger.
Additionally, the ADAC Tourenwagen Junior Cup saw significant action, including a series of crashes that required two restarts. Despite a collision near the Nockstein corner that caused several vehicle failures, the results were determined by the previous round's standings, maintaining Moritz Groneck as the winner.
