Salzkammergut promotes autumn golf tourism across eight courses

The Salzkammergut and Salzburg Lake District region is promoting autumn golf tourism through the ‘Golf & Seen’ initiative. The area features eight different golf courses situated near five major lakes: Attersee, Mondsee, Fuschlsee, Wolfgangsee, and Traunsee.

Autumn offers unique playing conditions, including cooler air and moisture that can affect ball control and course strategy. The region is designed for short travel distances between courses, with 18 golf hotels available to support multi-day trips. The eight participating courses include Golfclub am Attersee, Golfclub Am Mondsee, Golfclub Drachenwand, Golfclub Gut Altentann, Golfclub Regau Attersee Traunsee, Golfclub Salzburg, Golfclub Salzkammergut Bad Ischl, and Golfclub Waldhof.
